Come and join the exciting world of Tribal Style and Tribal Fusion Belly Dance.

Pip "E-Lysaah" will lead you through drills and movements for Tribal Belly Dance.

Tribal Style Belly Dance is about many dancers performing as one with no choreography. Tribal Fusion builds on these movements and adds advanced muscle control and isolation techniques into a choreography to allow for super-cool dancing.

There are three classes a week in Central Wellington, Lower Hutt and Petone, so you can choose the right class for you. You can join in the classes at any time, no need to wait for a semester break.

Tribal classes all cover the base fundamentals of both belly dance and tribal style, some classes include advancement combinations and tribal fusion technique. There is a regular improv group to perform with outside of class times.

Private lessons on Tribal Fusion and Beginner Belly Dance are available.

E-Lysaah has been teaching since 2003 and performed throughout New Zealand, and in Australia. Every year she travels internationally to study with the top tribal teachers. She prides herself on up-to-date technique and a strong focus on muscle isolation.

Whilst Tribal Style is not a traditional form of Middle Eastern Belly Dance, her classes provide an excellent support for middle eastern drum solo technique through the use of arabic rhythms and locking drills.
